Nina
is your head tour guide and most excellent cook. Definitely a people
person! Nina was born and raised in a small town near the city of Stuttgart, Germany.
Nina owned and operated a flower shop in Germany until she
immigrated to Canada in 1984. Nina and Hans met in Canada and ran
a vineyard in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Nina later
opened a flower shop in Osoyoos, BC that she operated for 12
years. After selling her flower shop it was time to move on. Nina accompanied the previous owner
of this great tour company on tours to gain experience and new ideas.
She instantly found her new calling! Nina loves to drive, travel
and cook. She was a natural tour guide and has as much fun as the
tour guests! Nina loves to downhill ski, horseback ride and hike.
She's a nature and animal enthusiast!
Nina has her Food Safe Certificate, First Aid Certificate and long-time driving experience.
She also has a Degree in Business Management.
Of course Nina is fluent in German and English. |
Hans
was born and raised near the city of Remscheid, Germany. He
owned and operated a steel-tempering business in Germany which his
son took over when Hans immigrated to Canada in 1981. Hans and
Nina married in 1985 and operated his 20 acre Vineyard in Oliver,
BC. Hans later sold his vineyard but stayed on as the manager
until he retired to enjoy the outdoors. Hans loves travel, skiing,
hiking, good food and a glass of wine or two! He enjoys nature,
wildlife and animals in general. Hans has always enjoyed the
hunting here in British Columbia. Today, his days are full with
the ranch and the horses.
Although not always accompanying Nina on the tours Hans remains involved
with the CANUSA tour operation.
Hans travels back to Germany at least once a year and still has
the love for his country of birth.
Of course Hans is fluent in German and English. |
